A Dietitian at Vejthani Hospital is a healthcare professional specializing in nutrition science and dietary management. Dietitians play a vital role in promoting patient health through personalized nutritional assessments, therapeutic diet planning, and ongoing dietary counseling.

Key Responsibilities:

Nutritional Assessment Conduct in-depth evaluations of patients’ nutritional status using clinical data, dietary history, and laboratory results.
Diet Planning and Management Develop individualized meal plans tailored to medical conditions such as diabetes, kidney disease, cardiovascular disorders, gastrointestinal issues, and post-surgical recovery.
Patient Education and Counseling Provide guidance to patients and families on healthy eating habits, food preparation, and lifestyle modifications to support long-term wellness.
Clinical Collaboration Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals to integrate nutrition into comprehensive treatment plans.
Monitoring and Follow-Up Track patient progress, adjust dietary plans as needed, and ensure compliance with nutritional recommendations.
Food Service Oversight Collaborate with hospital kitchen staff to ensure meals meet prescribed dietary standards and patient preferences.
Specialized Programs Participate in hospital initiatives such as weight management clinics, pediatric nutrition programs, and cancer care support.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field
Professional certification or licensure as a dietitian (as per Thai regulations)
Experience in clinical nutrition, preferably in a hospital setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
