A Pharmacist at Vejthani Hospital is a licensed healthcare professional responsible for ensuring the safe, effective, and rational use of medications for both inpatient and outpatient populations. Pharmacists play a vital role in supporting clinical teams, educating patients, and maintaining high standards of pharmaceutical care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Medication Dispensing and Review Accurately prepare and dispense prescriptions for IPD and OPD patients, ensuring correct dosage, interactions, and administration methods.
• Patient Consultation Provide counseling to patients on proper medication use, potential side effects, and adherence strategies to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
• Pharmacy System Development Contribute to the development and improvement of pharmacy management systems in alignment with hospital policies and goals.
• Inventory and Supply Management Monitor stock levels, manage procurement, and ensure the availability of essential medications and supplies.
• Clinical Collaboration Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support treatment plans and medication safety.
• Quality Assurance and Compliance Ensure compliance with Thai FDA regulations, hospital protocols, and international standards such as JCI.
• Shift-Based Operations Perform duties according to scheduled shifts, including weekends and holidays, to maintain continuous pharmaceutical services.
• Training and Development Participate in ongoing professional development and receive on-the-job training and coaching provided by the hospital.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy
• Valid Thai pharmacist license
• Minimum 4 years of experience preferred
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment
