At Vejthani Hospital, Inpatient Division Nurses are responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients admitted for medical, surgical, or specialized treatment. These nurses work across various inpatient units, including medical wards, surgical wards, and specialty centers such as orthopedics, cardiology, and rehabilitation.

Responsibilities of Inpatient Division Nurses

Patient Care

• Monitor and assess patients’ health status regularly.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist with daily activities such as hygiene, mobility, and nutrition.
• Provide wound care, IV therapy, and post-operative support.
• Educate patients and families about recovery, medication, and discharge plans.

Coordination & Documentation

• Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
• Communicate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to update care plans.
• Prepare patients for diagnostic tests and procedures.
• Ensure continuity of care during transfers between departments.

Ward Management

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment.
• Monitor equipment and supplies.
• Respond to emergencies and escalate care when needed.

Qualifications of Inpatient Nurses

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in Thailand.
• Training in basic life support (BLS) and infection control.
• Experience in hospital inpatient care, especially in specialized units.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work with international patients, often using English and Thai.
